 03: 10 PM till 04 30 PM  - Acute Coronary Syndromes 

Case based discussion covering (80 minutes – 6 cases).

  1. ECGs (AMI , Wellen’s)
  2. TTE showing wall motion abnormalities in different AMI patterns
  3. POCUS for Acute Chest Pain syndrome differentials.
  4. Troponin and Chest Pain
  5. DAPT / Heparin or clexane / thrombolysis or PPCI.
  6. Complications of AMI

Break: 4 : 30 – 4 : 45 PM

4: 45 PM till 5:15 PM - Heart Failure

  1. Case based discussions ( 30 minutes – 3 cases)
  2. Management of Acute Decompensated Congestive Heart Failure.
  3. Management  of Chronic Stable Congestive Heart Failure.
  4. Management of HFpEF

5: 15 PM till 6: 15 PM - Other ECGs in Emergency

Case based discussion ( 12 ECG cases)

  1. Arrythmias (brady and tachyarrhythmias, Pre-excitation syndromes)
  2. Metabolic (hyperkalaemia, Hypocalcaemia)
  3. Toxins / drug overdose

6:15 PM - Q&A + Adjourn

  1. Aortic Stenosis
  2. Mitral Regurgitation
  3.  Infective endocarditis
  4. Rheumatic heart disease

4:00 to 4:30 PM- Approach to Hypertension

Case based discussions

  1. Acute hypertensive Emergency / Urgency
  2. Chronic hypertension management

4: 45 PM till 6: 00 PM  -  Syncope and out-of-hospital cardiac arrest

Case based discussions

  1. Ischaemia
  2. Arrythmias
  3. HOCM
  4. Pacemaker and ICDs 
  5. Brugada and LQTS
